FAQ for the Covid 19 test and PCR Test Center
Do I need the covid 19 test result for traveling to Japan？
All tourists entering Japan, are required to present the Covid test results. If you don’t provide the PCR test results, you are rejected to take the flight. Test Results must be written on the special format by the Japanese government.
Do I get the test results especially required by the Japanese Government?
This PCR test center is collaborated with the local medical institutions. The test results will be delivered to the patients directly by these institutions. The first one is English standard results form. The second one is the proof of the test result on the special form required by the Japanese government. The both results will be sent separately to your email address.
I will take a domestic flight and transfer the international flight to Japan. When am I suppose to take the PCR test?
You need to take the PCR test withing 72 hours from the departure time of the first flight. Also, if you transfer the plaine in Canada or Mexico, the PCR test result is accepted. However, if you are apart from the airport or if you enter the country in the transfer land, your PCR test result will be invalid. Test result will be extended 24 hours, if the flight is delayed or canceled.
Which are Medical institutions testing this PCR test?
At this PCR testing center, Genophyll Labs is testing with Saliva test, and Alliance Health is testing with Swab test.The test results will be delivered by these institutions directly to the patients.
In order to enter Japan, do my kids need to take the PCR test?
If the parent has the negative test result, your children under 5 years old, they don’t need to take the test results. If your child is 6 years old, he or she needs it.
